1. Competition
1.1. This competition is run on the OTT4Me Platform by OTT Mobile Technologies (Pty) Ltd (“OTT”) and will be subject to these terms and conditions for the duration of the competition.
1.2. This competition will run weekly and has no specified end date.
1.3. By entering the competition, you are deemed to have read, accepted, and agreed to be bound by these official terms, which shall be final and binding on all matters relating to this specific competition.
2. Prize:
2.1. The prize consists of 10 x R100 OTT Vouchers.
3. General:
3.1. Winners will be selected and contacted within 7 days of the competition ending.
3.2. Contact will be made via OTT Support.
3.3. The competition is open to all OTT users who meet the following eligibility criteria:
3.4. Any person who is 18 years of age and above, has a valid form of identification,
resides within South Africa, and buys and uses an OTT Voucher of R5.00 or more
and uses that voucher PIN code to enter via OTT4Me for this campaign will be
entered into the competition.
3.5. Prizes are non-transferable.
3.6. Once the winner has been randomly selected, the winner will be contacted to be
informed of their winnings. After two unsuccessful attempts to get hold of a
drawn winner within a 24-hour period, the prize will be awarded to another
winner. Failure to contact the drawn winner will amount to disqualification, and
OTT will not be held liable to give the prize to any winner who gives incorrect or
false contact details.
3.7. OTT reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual and cancel
his or her participation who tampers with the competition process.
3.8. OTT may vary the terms of or cancel competition terms at any time with notice
and without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the
competition.
3.9. OTT adheres to the legal parameters regarding legal privacy in South Africa. By
participating, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information by
OTT to administer this Competition, award the prizes to each of the winners for
the duration of the competition, and optimise future Competitions.
3.10. OTT will not assume any liability to any participant in connection with or arising
out of the competition however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses,
damages, and other liabilities.
3.11. These Terms are governed by and determined in accordance with the laws of
South Africa.
3.12. Neither OTT nor the Partner will be held responsible for any delays in the delivery
of the prize. OTT will take the necessary steps to ensure that the prize amount
has been sent to the winner within 7 days of announcing to the drawn winner of
their prize money, provided that the conditions have been met.
3.13. Winners consent to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of
your name(s) and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to
decline participation in any such promotional activities.
3.14. OTT will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by any participant
as a result of entering this competition or accepting the prize.
3.15. Each participant may enter the competition a maximum of 100,000 times.
Multiple entries beyond this limit will result in disqualification.
3.16. Winners may be required to provide proof of eligibility, including but not limited
to age, residency, and valid identification, before the prize is awarded.
3.17. All entries must be submitted by the closing date of the competition. Entries
received after this date will not be considered.
3.18. Personal data collected during the competition will be handled in accordance
with OTT’s privacy policy. Participants have the right to request access to,
rectification, or deletion of their personal data.
3.19. Prizes will be delivered in the form specified in the competition details. Delivery
method and timeline may vary depending on the prize and winner’s location.
3.20. In the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of OTT or Partner,
including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or technical
failures, OTT reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the
competition.
3.21. Any tax obligations arising from the receipt of the prize are the sole responsibility
of the winner. Winners may be required to complete tax forms or provide
additional information for tax purposes.
3.22. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the competition shall be subject
to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
3.23. By entering the competition, participants agree to receive communications
related to the competition and products/services from OTT. Participants may opt
out of such communications at any time.
3.24. Any intellectual property rights in entries submitted in connection with the
competition will be owned by OTT. Participants agree to assign all intellectual
property rights in their entries to OTT.
