OTT4Me x Betfred
June 2025 – August 2025
1. Competition:
1.1. This competition is hosted by OTT Mobile Technologies (Pty) Ltd (“OTTâ€) in
collaboration with Betfred and will be subject to these terms and conditions for
the duration of the competition.
1.2. The competition is a direct voucher campaign. Selected recipients will receive an
SMS with a R100 OTT Voucher redeemable on the Betfred platform.
1.3. The competition will be held June 2025 – August 2025.
1.4. Selected recipients who have redeemed an OTT Voucher with Betfred will receive
an SMS with a R100 OTT Voucher redeemable on the Betfred platform.
1.5. By participating in the competition, you are deemed to have read, accepted, and
agreed to be bound by these official terms, which shall be final and binding on all
matters relating to this specific competition.
2. Prize:
2.1. The prize is sponsored by OTT and Betfred.
2.2. The prize consists of 1,600 x R100.00 OTT Vouchers redeemable on the Betfred
platform.
2.3. Each winner will receive one R100 voucher via SMS.
3. General:
3.1. Vouchers will be distributed via SMS and can only be redeemed on the Betfred
platform.
3.2. The competition is open to all recipients who meet the following eligibility criteria:
– Any person who is 18 years of age and above,
– Has a valid form of identification,
– Resides within South Africa, and
– Redeems the OTT Voucher received via SMS during this campaign.
3.3. Prizes are non-transferable.
3.4. Once a voucher has been redeemed, it cannot be reused. Any attempt to tamper
with or reuse a voucher PIN will result in disqualification.
3.5. OTT reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify and cancel the
participation of any individual who tampers with the competition process.
3.6. OTT may vary or cancel the competition terms at any time with notice and
without liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the competition.
3.7. OTT adheres to the legal parameters regarding privacy in South Africa. By
participating, you agree to allow OTT to collect and use your personal information
to administer this competition, award vouchers to recipients, and optimise future
competitions.
3.8. OTT will not assume any liability to any participant in connection with or arising
out of the competition, however caused, including for any costs, expenses,
damages, and other liabilities.
3.9. These Terms are governed by and determined in accordance with the laws of
South Africa.
3.10. Neither OTT nor Betfred will be held responsible for any delays in the delivery of
the voucher. OTT will take the necessary steps to ensure that the voucher is sent
to the recipient within a reasonable time after the start of the competition,
provided that the conditions have been met.
3.11. Recipients consent to participate in reasonable post-event publicity and to the
use of your name(s) and photographs in such publicity, subject to the recipient’s
right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.
3.12. OTT is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by any recipient who
redeems this voucher.
3.13. Each recipient may redeem one voucher per SMS received.
3.14. Recipients may be required to provide proof of eligibility, including but not
limited to age, residency, and valid identification, before the voucher is
redeemed.
3.15. All vouchers must be redeemed before the expiry date. Vouchers not redeemed
before this date will not be valid.
3.16. Personal data collected during the competition will be handled in accordance
with OTT’s privacy policy. Participants have the right to request access to,
rectification, or deletion of their personal data.
3.17. Vouchers will be delivered in the form specified in the competition details.
Delivery method and timeline may vary depending on the recipient’s location.
3.18. In the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of OTT or Betfred,
including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or technical
failures, OTT reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the
competition.
3.19. Any tax obligations arising from the receipt of the voucher are the sole
responsibility of the recipient. Recipients may be required to complete tax forms
or provide additional information for tax purposes.
3.20. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the competition shall be subject
to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
3.21. By redeeming the voucher, participants agree to receive communications related
to the competition and products/services from OTT. Participants may opt out of
such communications at any time by emailing support@ott-mobile.com.
3.22. Any intellectual property rights in materials submitted in connection with the
competition will be owned by OTT
