TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OTT App 20 x R 250.00 Capitec Flexi Vouchers per week
6 October 2025 – 5 December 2025
1.This competition will be held from 6 October 2025 to 5 December 2025 (“the closing date”).
2.To enter the competition, a participant must purchase the voucher through the Capitec app and redeem an OTT Voucher to the value of R 5.00 or more and enter their redeemed OTT Voucher PIN into the competition on the OTT App platform.
3.Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries and will win 1 of 20 Capitec Flexi Voucher to the value of R250 per week. Winners will be contacted via OTT Support within 7 days of the end of the competition.
4.GENERAL
4.1.These are the terms and conditions for competitions conducted or promoted by or in association with OTT.
4.2.Your entry into the competition and/or your acceptance of a prize (in the event that you win a prize) constitutes your binding acceptance of OTT’s Competitions Terms and Conditions.
4.3. All prizes are funded by OTT. No third party is responsible for supplying or sponsoring the prizes unless stated otherwise.
4.4. Capitec Flexi Vouchers are valid for a single use only and must be redeemed in one transaction. Any unused balance will be forfeited, no change will be given, and the voucher cannot be carried over, exchanged for cash, or used in separate transactions.
5. COMPETITION ENTRY
5.1. The duration of OTT’s competitions may be shortened or extended at the discretion of the organiser.
5.2. To be eligible and participate in one of OTT’s competitions, you must:
- 5.2.1.
Be a legal resident of the Republic of South Africa; - 5.2.2.
Be a natural person (not a juristic entity); - 5.2.3.
Be over 18 years old; and - 5.2.4.
Provide all the correct information required by OTT.
5.3. Any entries which are not received by OTT prior to the closing date of the competition will not be eligible to win a prize. Timeous entry is the responsibility of the participant.
5.4. OTT is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer hardware or software failure or malfunction, traffic congestion (whether physical, or on the Internet, telephone lines or at any service provider, web site or other device or medium), or any combination thereof, or any other technical or other problems.5.5. You must ensure that any information and contact details provided by you are accurate and complete.
5.6. OTT will not be held liable for any costs or expenses that you may incur during and for the purposes of your entry into OTT’s competitions and your acceptance or use of a prize.
5.7. If it is unlawful for you to receive a prize, you will forfeit the prize.
5.8. OTT’s competitions are not open to:
5.8.1. directors, members, partners, agents, employees, or consultants of OTT or any of its related entities, or any supplier of goods or services in connection with a competition; and
5.8.2. the spouse, life partner, business partner or associate, or the natural or adopted parent, child, or sibling, of any of the persons specified in above.
6. WINNER SELECTION AND REWARD
6.1. Winners are randomly selected from eligible entries from participants.
6.2. Prizes are not transferable and may not be deferred, changed, or exchanged for cash or any other item or size.
6.3. You must possess whatever documents and permissions that may be required in order to accept and use a prize.
6.4. Winners will be notified via OTT Support. If OTT or a third-party supplier is unable to contact a winner within 7 days, or if a winner is unable to collect or accept a prize within a reasonable period of time, the winner forfeits the prize, and OTT may re-draw a new winner of that prize.
6.5. OTT may require you to provide us with such additional information and documentation as OTT may reasonably require for processing, confirming, and facilitating your acceptance and/or use of a prize. If you fail or refuse to provide OTT with the requested information or documentation for whatever reason, you will forfeit the prize.
6.6. OTT may invite you to be present when the prize winners are determined or announced, to participate in any of OTT’s marketing activities, to appear in person in the electronic media and/or the print media, and/or to endorse, promote or advertise any of OTT’s goods or services, for which no fee, royalty or other compensation will be payable. You may decline such an invitation.
6.7. Entrants may not use multiple accounts, and anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter will be disqualified.
6.8. OTT may publish names of participants and winners on any of its communication platforms.
6.9. All correspondence regarding the prize must be directed at the supplier of the prize. OTT will not be responsible for any further correspondence, harm, damage, loss, or claim relating to the provision of any element of the prize.
6.10. OTT is not responsible for any harm, damage, loss or claim relating to the provision of any element of a prize or any changes to a prize that may be made at any time.
6.11. OTT and its third-party suppliers reserve the right to vary, postpone, suspend, or cancel the competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason, which OTT deems necessary. In the event of such variation, postponement, suspension or cancellation, you agree to waive any rights, interests, and expectations that you may have in terms of OTT’s competitions and acknowledge that you will have no recourse against OTT, its affiliates and third-party suppliers.
6.12. You agree that your participation in the competition, and your acceptance and/or use of a prize, or any aspect thereof, is at your own risk. OTT and its affiliates will not be responsible, and disclaim all liability, for any loss, liability, injury, expense or damage (whether direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential) of any nature, whether arising from negligence or any other cause, which is suffered by your participation in the competition or the acceptance and/or use by you, or your partner (if applicable), of any prize, or by any action taken by us or any of our affiliates in accordance with the terms and conditions.
7. DATA PRIVACY/SECURITY
7.1.OTT and the competition sponsor(s) will be considered co-responsible parties (co-controllers) in terms of POPIA. Personal Information will not be shared with any third party and will only be used to fulfill requirements of the competition and marketing by both parties, subject to your data subject rights as set out in OTT’s Privacy Notice on our website.
7.2.By entering this competition, participants acknowledge and agree that the organiser may collect, store, and process their personal information for the purposes of administering the competition and for related marketing activities. The organiser may use data from entries and subsequent customer interactions to evaluate the effectiveness of this campaign (closed-loop reporting). Entrants may be contacted with promotional offers, updates, or surveys, and may opt out of such communications at any time.
